James started martial arts at the age of 9, quickly becoming interested in what it could offer him in terms of fitness and flexibility. Over the years, James has become a more integral part of the TSM family, enjoying the role of assistant instructor at both Maresfield and Uckfield. James has recently returned from four years away from Sussex whilst at university and is ready to up his training again as he plays a key role in driving the club forward whilst completing his masters at the University of Sussex.
